Aaron Wright

Spanish Teacher and Building Substitute

I have always had a hard time sitting still and believe that there is too much to discover about the world to not try and discover as much as I can. I have travelled to 16 countries, I’m learning my third language, I collect tours of US state capitol buildings, I have friends on every continent (yes, even Antarctica), and I believe that the pathway to happiness runs right alongside the path of continuing education. I have worked in the summer camp industry, wilderness trip guiding, taught English as a foreign language in Spain, and a million other odd jobs since graduating from Central Michigan University in 2015. Since moving back to Traverse City in November 2021, I have become a member of the local community theatre, an avid cyclist, and enjoy spending time in my backyard with my two cats, Arbee and Sandy, and my husband Trenton.
I’m so excited to see what the coming year has in store, and am ready to role model for my students how much fun a lifetime of learning can afford them!
