Breanna McGurn

As a child growing up in Traverse City I had the most wonderful adventures and experiences. It was in my backyard where my love of nature was fostered and my imagination grew. After living in Boston for three years my husband and I knew that Traverse City is where we wanted to raise our children. Because of our move back to our hometown, our kids now have the same love of nature and the outdoors that we were able to have growing up.

I attended Western Michigan University for my bachelor’s in music, majoring in Vocal Performance and Opera. I have taught private voice lessons for the past 12 years while being a stay-at-home mom.

After my husband and I moved back to Traverse City in 2010 we decided that I would take on the role of stay-at-home mom with our 3 girls. In my spare time, you will find me in my favorite role as a mom, singing, sewing, hiking, camping, sailing, and being with my family. I am very excited to be back in the workforce at Greenspire High School!
