Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is LIVE. All students must re-enroll. If you have an 8th-grade student, high school enrollment must be completed separately. Current students are guaranteed a spot at either the middle school or high school, but enrollment forms must be submitted by March 14th at 4:00 PM to secure their place. Math: Please visit the Math Website to learn more.

Social Studies: Please visit the Social Studies Website for updates.
PE/Health: In PE, students had a blast building snow forts with all the fresh snow we’ve received! It was a great way to get active, work together, and enjoy the winter weather. In health, we’ve been learning about infectious diseases—perfect timing, as lots of sickness is going around! Students are creating posters, comics, or short stories about how different diseases spread and how to prevent them.

Art: This week students wrapped up their music festival posters and worked on a meaningful project for our community. They decorated bags for Project Feed the Kids, a local organization that provides food for those in need through coolers placed around the area. If you’d like to learn more or support their efforts, check out their website: Project Feed the Kids.Outdoor Ed: This new quarter continues to bring a plentiful amount of snow and snowy activities! We continue to study track direction, speed, and animal ID. We also are learning the best layering techniques and how to stay warm and dry in the winter. Outdoor Ed will be a part of the GAME ON! project through various survival scenarios, fire building, water purification, and possible shelter building. More information on survival tasks in the coming weeks!
Literature: English is focusing on utopias, dystopias, and the differences between thriving and surviving. We are also getting to the end of the Read a Book Challenge. Please talk to your student to make sure they have reported a book read to Claire.
Sustainable Agriculture: Students have moved away from farming in space. Taking its place is a unit on GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms), and their role as a tool in agriculture. These lessons cover both the positive and negative effects GMOs have within the agricultural industry. The goal is for students to understand what GMOs are, how crops and livestock are modified, and how they could modify their own crops/livestock in the ongoing Game On! project.
