Eli Holm

I am honored to serve as Superintendent and High School Principal of Greenspire Schools. Throughout more than twenty years in education, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a teacher, school administrator, university professor, performing arts producer, outdoor education leader, and student leadership advisor. My passion for experiential and environmental education began as a sixth grader attending an outdoor education program that had a profound impact on my life. Years later, I returned to that same program as a counselor, assistant director, and eventually director, reinforcing my belief that some of the most meaningful learning happens through authentic experiences, strong relationships, curiosity, and a sense of belonging.

My wife, Kaela, our two children, Declan and Piper, and I are excited to call the greater Traverse City area home. Our family’s journey here began through opportunities in the arts for our children and grew into a deep appreciation for this remarkable region and the people who call it home. When I was offered the opportunity to serve Greenspire Schools, it immediately felt like a natural fit. The school’s commitment to authentic learning, environmental stewardship, creativity, and community closely aligns with the values that have shaped both my personal and professional journey. I look forward to listening, learning, and partnering with our students, families, staff, and community as we continue creating meaningful opportunities for every Greenspire student.
