Welcome to the Greenspire Summer Program!

Greenspire is offering hands-on, outdoor Summer Program sessions. Program themes vary from week to week, but most are outdoor, project-focused activities to get kids creating, exploring and adventuring all summer long!

We offer sessions for two different age groups each week:

Grades 3-6, and Grades 7-9.

Summer Program sessions run Monday – Friday from 9AM – 3PM.  Buy tickets below to reserve your child’s spot.

Summer Program Sessions

Session 1, Code Quest and Greenspire Games, June 23-27 2025

Get ready for an action-packed week where technology meets teamwork! We offer two distinct sessions this week. “Pixels and Codes” for girls and non-binary students and “”Digital arts and Adventure Games” for all. In these unique camp sessions, you’ll dive into the world of coding and digital creation, while also competing in the Greenspire Games—a thrilling series of outdoor challenges, strategy-based games, and team competitions. Session 2, Underwater Exploration Week, July 7-11 2025

Dive into a week of creativity and exploration as we uncover the wonders of the underwater world through art and hands-on discovery! In Underwater Robotics, participants will design and build remotely operated underwater vehicles (UROVs) to explore the bay environment. For those passionate about marine science and artistic expression, Sea & Sketch offers a unique opportunity to study marine life through creative projects. Session 3, Fantasy & Mythical Creatures week, July 14-18 2025

Step into a world of imagination as campers draw, paint, and sculpt magical beings like dragons, unicorns, and fairies. This session encourages creativity while exploring different artistic techniques to bring mythical creatures to life! Session 3 instructors: Paige Leach and Kelly Francisco

Session 4, Around the World in Art , July 21-25, 2025

Travel the globe through art! Participants will discover diverse cultures by exploring and creating their own art reflecting different regions of the world. This hands-on experience introduces traditional techniques while celebrating artistic expression from around the world. Session 4 instructors: Paige Leach and Kelly Francisco

Session 5, Wild Creations: Art in Nature & Mixed Media,

July 28 – August 1, 2025

Unleash your creativity in the great outdoors! This immersive art camp blends nature, mixed media, and hands-on exploration to inspire young artists. From painting with natural pigments to crafting with foraged objects, each day brings a new way to create while connecting with the environment. Session five instructors Nora Blanchard and Erin Fitzpatrick.

Session 6, The Great Cardboard Challenge, August 4-8, 2025

This week is all about 3-D cardboard sculptures and creations. Set sail on a week of creativity, engineering, and hands-on adventure as you design, build, and launch your very own cardboard boat! Boating not really your thing? We will provide the supplies for you to plan and sculpt the creation of your dreams. This camp is all about innovation, teamwork, and a little bit of splashing fun.
