Taylor Gemmell

I have grown up in many different states, Michigan is far my favorite. This will be my first year at Greenspire 2020-2021. I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) with a passion for community-based interventions and inclusive recreation. I have worked in a variety of settings, working with both children and adults. However, this will be my first experience working within a school system. I am very eager to learn. I hope I will be able to use my knowledge and experience to add to the team here at Greenspire!

I graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services: Recreation Therapeutic Concentrated as well as Psychology. I completed my master’s at Texas State University in Therapeutic Recreation.
