Events like this remind us how special our Greenspire community is by bringing families together, sharing laughter, and celebrating the true tradition of a school family. On February 20, our staff will spend the entire day engaged in professional development focused on strengthening our instructional practices and continuing to grow as educators. This dedicated time allows our team to collaborate, reflect, and refine their craft — all in service of providing the very best learning experience for our students.
February can be a particularly challenging month in education, and our staff continues to show up each day with incredible care, commitment, and heart. If you would like to help us show our appreciation, we would love to provide lunch for our team during their professional development day. It would be a meaningful way to encourage and thank the educators who pour so much into our school community.

A Note to Our Community: Choosing Integrity Over Gossip
At Greenspire, we work hard to build a culture rooted in respect, trust, and care for one another. Recently, we have been having important conversations with students about gossip and the harm that rumors can cause within a school community.
We have reminded students of a simple guideline: if you did not personally witness or directly hear something yourself, it is not your story to tell. Passing along secondhand information — especially when it does not involve you — is gossip. And gossip, even when framed as concern or curiosity, can damage relationships, reputations, and our sense of safety with one another.
We are encouraging students to pause and ask themselves: Is this about me? Is this mine to share? Is it kind? If the answer is no, the responsible choice is not to repeat it.
Our goal is not simply to stop negative behavior, but to help students grow into people of integrity who protect one another’s dignity. We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing these expectations at home and helping us maintain a community built on trust and respect.
Enrollment for 2026/2027:

We have finished our notes on invisible disabilities, their characteristics, and how we can help them as learners. We had a good chat about the human ability to manipulate, or “rewire”, one’s brain, and how that can be done in positive and negative ways. We also looked at our choices for our realistic fiction novels that we will be starting next week, which all follow a young person who is being impacted by one or more invisible disabilities.
