Annual Plant Sale
The Greenspire Middle School will be hosting its annual Plant Sale this Wednesday, May 18th from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm on the middle school campus.
A variety of veggies, flowers, trees and shrubs grown and tended with the gentle hands of our beloved middle school students will be available
Campus Clean-Up
Sarah will be hosting a Campus Clean-Up on Wednesday, June 8th from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. This will help us to prepare for the 10th Anniversary Celebration and 8th Grade Graduation. Parents and students are invited to attend and there will be pizza served after the clean-up.
2022 Grand Valley State University Charter Schools Office Core Values Award
I am happy to announce that we were the recipients of the 2022 Grand Valley State University Charter Schools Office Core Values Award. The GVSU CSO Office has five core values: inquiry, inclusive and equitable community, innovation, integrity, and international perspectives. For 2022, the award was presented for the value of innovation. Greenspire won for its work as a pilot school for a new teacher evaluation model in the state called the Michigan Transformational Evaluation Model (8E). We are honored to win this award 
Clothing
As the weather warms, please make sure students have appropriate clothes on when coming to school. While we do spend a significant amount of time outdoors and it can get hot like this week, clothing must be appropriate for school.
Community Surveys
Beginning last year, we created surveys to send to our community members each spring. Students, teachers, staff, and parents/guardians are asked to complete these surveys so that we can continue to improve Greenspire and examine trends over time.
Early next week in a separate email, parents/guardians will be sent the parent/guardian edition of the Climate and Culture Survey. We ask that you complete the survey by Friday, May 27th and that you only submit one response per parent/guardian. We thank you for your time and appreciate your feedback.
