Saludos to the Greespire community! I am a son of Leelanau County, recently returned to my home ground after 30 years. After graduating from Leland High School, I attended Carleton College in Minnesota, where I was a Spanish major, spending semesters abroad in both Mexico and Spain. After graduation, I lived in Montana for two years, serving in the National Forest Service. I began my teaching career in San Francisco, and Oakland, CA as a bilingual elementary teacher. In 2004 my wife and I moved to her hometown in Michoacan, Mexico, where we founded an English language school, which is still in operation. In 2020, such a tumultuous year, we decided to write another chapter in our book, bringing us full circle, back to where I began! I am grateful to be included in the Greenspire project and eager to contribute my experiences to its endeavor. ¡Gracias a todos y mucho gusto!
