Hello Greenspire Community –

As you probably know by now, the state will be entering into a Three-Week Pause beginning on Wednesday, November 18th.  High schools are required to suspend in-person learning.  Elementary and middle schools can choose whether or not to continue in-person learning during this Three-Week Pause.  All schools in the county have been under a “consider remote” condition for the past few weeks since the county moved to level “E” due to the rising number of cases in the county.  At the beginning of October, the county’s infection rate was 1.9%.  That number is now at and sometimes over 10%.  Positive cases in the county affect all age groups, including children.

We will be evaluating our situation to determine the best path forward that protects the health and safety of our students, our faculty/staff, our parents, our friends, and our community members.

If the decision is made to transition to remote learning for a period of time, we have a remote schedule to put into effect immediately.

Remote Learning Pictures

We are looking for pictures of students participating in remote learning (both hybrid and fully remote students) to use in the 2020-2021 Greenspire yearbook.  If you have any pictures of your child learning at home, please send to Kat Eldred at kateldredmusic@yahoo.com.

Have a good week and stay safe!
