Hello Greenspire Community –


Despite our snow day on Friday, last week was a busy week.  The highlight of the week was our ELA and Literature Project Kick-Off.  Claire and Phil organized a great event for their poetry unit that included several faculty/staff members reciting poems for the students.  

Reminder – we are in for a very cold week – please make sure that your child has all of the necessary clothing for outdoor learning in these colder temperatures.


Self-Checks at Home
Please make sure that you are conducting daily self-checks with your child before sending them to school.  Despite the general reduction in cases statewide, some local schools are experiencing higher rates of school-related cases since January 1st than they did for the four months prior.  Daily self-check protocols will help to keep our school free from COVID-19.  Please see below for self-check protocols…

High School Preview Sessions
We are offering two High School Preview Sessions on Monday, February 8th and Monday, February 22nd both at 7:00 pm on Zoom.  Registration is required.  You will be provided the Zoom link and login information after you register.  To register, please visit:

Our 8th grade students will have their own preview session during Brain Break on Monday.  


Enrollment
Enrollment and Re-enrollment for both the middle school and high school begin on February 15th.  You will receive further instructions and materials regarding middle school enrollment from Jill in the coming days.  Information regarding both schools can be found here:

Community Connections Event & Electives
Wednesday, February 10th begins remote electives for all students.  In-person students will receive more information regarding electives in Council.  The information will be distributed to fully remote students as well.  
This Wednesday, February 10th we will be hosting a Community Connections for ALL students.  This is a great way to connect both groups of students and the event will be hosted by Kelly with several other faculty/staff members included.  We hope to see all students there on Wednesday morning 
