It has been another wonderful week at The Greenspire School. Students are diving deep into projects and working on unity throughout the school community.   • Unity Day: October 18- Wear Orange to orange in support of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

  • Parent Teacher Conferences: November 9 and 10- More Information in the coming weeks
  • Half Day of School: November 10

Haunted Forest Information:

Students participating in the Haunted Forest, no matter what role they are playing, will stay after school on Friday, October 27. They will need to be picked up at 7 p.m. If your student is not participating, please pick them up at 3:30 like normal in the car line. Students will be finding out more information about their roles and supplies they may need next week. Students will send an email home detailing anything they specifically stated that they may need/ be able to bring in for the Haunted Forest on Wednesday. Ski/ Snowboard Parent Rep Needed!:

Crystal Mountain is offering their student ski program to Greenspire students again this winter – but we need a new Parent Rep!  There is a mandatory meeting this coming Sunday (10/15) from 12-2pm.  There are savings and perks for the Parent Rep!  If you are interested, can you please email rosezivkovich@gmail.com ASAP for more details?  

Robotics Team Fundraiser:The Steel Sturgeons Robotics Team is hosting a fundraiser night with Qdoba (west side location only – near movie theater) on Thursday, November 9th, from 4-8PM, during the first night of Parent Teacher Conferences. 25% of sales go to the team; these funds help to offset travel expenses, registration fees, cost of building the robot. You’ll need to present a flyer (which will be available at MS and HS during conferences) or show the QR code [BELOW AND ATTACHED] or order online at Qdoba.com and use the code QDOBAGIVES.  We just want to make dinner easy!
