Hello Middle School Community –
As you may have seen in the news recently, we are seeing the highest rates of COVID-19 in the state and region since the pandemic started back in March 2020. These rates are higher than when we moved to remote learning in April 2021 during our previous record high after Spring Break. Other schools and districts in the region have had to close to in-person learning due to high rates of COVID-19 affecting their students and faculty/staff.
To help prevent that from happening at Greenspire, we continue to ask that you conduct daily self checks with your students each day before coming to school. A copy of the daily self check procedure is located below as well as attached in PDF format. Please err on the side of caution with your child(ren) with any symptom(s) or potential close contact to a COVID-19 positive individual. Along with our indoor masking policy, this will help us to preserve in-person learning and not force us to quarantine entire pods and move them to remote learning due to a close contact or school exposure as you have seen with other schools in the area that do not require masking indoors.
