Hello Middle School Community –
This is the last weekly update of the school year!
We had three great grade-level field trips on Wednesday. The 6th grade had a campus takeover, the 7th grade went around town, and the 8th grade went to Grand Rapids for the day.
Final Week of School Reminders:
Monday – Beach Day 
– Please make sure students have sunscreen, comfortable shoes for walking to and from the beach, a refillable water bottle, a towel, and a change of clothes. In the event of rain or bad weather, we have a backup plan on campus, but best to be prepared just in case.
Tuesday – 8th Grade Appreciation Day – We have a special schedule to honor the 8th graders throughout the day. It is always a fun day! Our 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony begins at 6:30 pm in the courtyard (rain or shine). All 8th grade students must be at school by 6:00 pm and meet in the Maple building with our parent volunteers.
Wednesday – Final Day of School – This is a half day of school and students should be picked up at 11:30 am.
Mercato (The Commons):
The Mercato in the Commons would like to let local schools in the area know that they have had some recent issues with unsupervised students hanging out after school, causing some issues. If your child regularly goes to that area after school, please remind them of appropriate behavior both inside and outside throughout the grounds. This will help to make sure that none of this behavior involves any Greenspire students.
