Hello Greenspire Middle School Community –

A huge thank you to everyone for attending our rescheduled Campus Clean-Up on Thursday.  We swear when we looked at the weather radar on Wednesday at about 2:00 pm, we were going to get heavy rain at about 4:00 pm that day . In any case, we appreciate all of the help on Thursday in preparation for our end of year events.

Speaking of end of year events…

The 10 Year Celebration is this Saturday, June 11th from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Middle School Campus.  We hope to see you there!

Staff Announcements at the Middle School

We are happy to announce the hire of three new middle school staff members for next year as well as one familiar face moving to a new position .

Aaron Wright will be our new Middle School Spanish Teacher and Building Substitute.  He comes to us with a wide range of skills including experience with outdoor education, along with Spanish.  We are really happy to have him join our team next year!

Brittany Roeper will be our new Middle School ELA Teacher.  Brittany comes to us with not only K-12 teaching experience, but college teaching experience as well.  Brittany is going to be an amazing addition to the team next year!

Toby Wegener will be our first Middle School Dean of Students.  Toby has years of experience as a school administrator in Michigan and he is so excited to work with our students next year in this new position.  He will be a great addition to our admin team next year!

Finally, a familiar face, Taylor Gemmell will be moving to serve as a Middle School Special Education Teacher next year.  Taylor has served as a Special Education Assistant the last two years at the middle school and we are excited to see her transition to this new position.  She has an extensive background in recreational therapy and working with a diverse group of children and adults, so this is the perfect fit!

We will have more announcements to come when you return in August.

Thank You

The entire middle school faculty/staff would like to thank you for all of your support, assistance, and resources during the 2021-2022 school year.  Your continued support does not go unnoticed and we are lucky to have you as part of our school community.  We look forward to a great final week of school and 2022-2023 school year!
